Fast Eddie on the prowl.....

Welcome back OCS fans!

Being that it is Easter and over the next few days, there will be plenty of Easter Egg hunts going on, I used this fun image from High Hopes Stamps called Fast Eddie.  He is definitely on the run for those eggs. This is a fairly clean and simple card.  Fast Eddie was coloured with Copic Markers, then cut out using the Spellbinders Standard Circle Die.  I used the Crystal Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pen, to add some glitter to the basket.

As  there is a banner of wording on the bottom part of the card, I added the Happy Easter sentiment to the inside of the card.

Anything Is Possible!

Welcome back One Crazy Stamper Fans! I hope you have been enjoying the new "A Magical Day" release.
I have been having fun trying to figure out how to include some magic in each card I making. Today our "Little Wizard" is practicing his magic and has figured out how to cast a rainbow of stars!

For as simple as this card layout looks, it actually took me 8 tries to have it come together perfectly - I am so thankful for my Misti! The stars are done with sparkle pens which kept bleeding and when I decided to add clouds, one of them smeared - tip - wait for sparkle pens to completely dry before accidentally adding ink - so I had to start over. Finally after figuring out the perfect paper to use, how to "drop" my extra juicy sparkle pen in the space so it wouldn't bleed and inking my clouds.. my background came together.

After colouring my image with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white border. All of this cuteness was added to paper from Photo Play and Echo Park and i combined two different sentiments to create the sentiment.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Little WizardStarry Dreams - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Anything PossibleBelieve - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Delightful and Tailored Plaid - Photo Play, Dots and Stripes - Echo Park
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Misti, Gold Wink of Stella, Spectrum and Sheena Douglas sparkle pens, Love Earth Gumdrops - YNS, cloud die - Quickutz, Baby Blue ink - Memories

It's a Black and White Kind of Day

It's been one of those weeks and so for today's card I decided to challenge myself to an all black and white card - something I try to do at least once a year. I think this one turned out great!!

This sweet image is "Wizarding Gnome" from the A Magical Day release at High Hopes stamps.  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  The stars and glitter were colored with a Sakura Clear glitter pen and then I added Wink of Stella silver to the larger stars.  The star flourish is an oldie from Memory Box and the frame is an unknown brand.  The sentiment is from the same release and is available here.

Card Recipe
Copics - N0, N2, N3, N6, N10, C3, C5, T0, T2, T7, T10
Prismacolor pencils - 1058 90% Warm Grey, 1063 10% Warm Grey, 1063 50% Cool Grey, 1060 - 20%  Cool Grey, 938 White

Dragon Pals!

Hi OCS Fans!
There is just something so adorable about dragons and they seem to be all the rage right now! Meet "Dragon Pals" from the High Hopes new release called "It's A Magical Day". I think they look like they are having a conversation about learning to fly, what do you think?
Today's papers are from the Doodlebug "Dragon Tails" 6x6 collection. I am in love with the blue and green colour theme on this card! I stamped my image onto a Scalloped Circle Frame die cut and then coloured it in using my Copic Sketch Markers.
The sentiment is also from the new collections and is called "Dream Big".

Choppers Easter gift -- High Hopes Stamps

Hello, Happy Saturday!
I'm super excited at the though of Spring. I can't wait for Easter and
watching the tulips and daffodils bloom!

Today's creation is made with ...

Chopper is having some fun with his bunny ears
and springs on his shoes! :) This scene is silly and makes me smile.
I coloured the scene with pencil crayons on Kraft paper.
I added a die cut border, pattern paper along with coordinating ribbon too!

Dream Big

I am having so much fun playing with the new A Magical Day release!

Today we find our "Little Wizard In Training" in her workshop practicing with her book of magic.

I wanted to keep the book theme throughout my card so I chose use some paper that had a book theme, a file tab, and a letter edge die.
A brick pattern stencil and Memento ink created the wall in the background. The dot paper and gumdrops in the corners keep a "bubble theme" throughout the card as well since our little wizard seems to be working on quite the recipe at the moment.

Gnomes at Night

Welcome to One Crazy Stampers release of the new High Hopes "A Magical Day" images.  Each day for the last week the design team members have been sharing their products using images from the release, and today it's my turn!!

This adorable image is "3 Little Garden Gnomes" that I instantly fell in love with!!  I stamped the image on Copic Xpress It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it with Copics and added Prismacolor pencils for added depth and detail.  Each gnome hat received a touch of either Wink of Stella Gold, Sakura white glaze pen or Sakura Clear Star for added sparkle, and the crystal ball has hints of the white gel pen.  The image was then fussy cut and placed on the galaxy background I created with Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry and Black Soot distress inks.  For even more detail on the background I used the Sakura Glaze pen to add dots to represent stars!  The sentiment is also from the new release and is available here.

Dream Big - High Hopes

It's new release time over at High Hopes Stamps!!
Today I'm creating with ...
The image is coloured with Copic markers. I made a little shaker with
some tiny stars added.  I though the stars gave the card a magical feel to the design! Buttons, twine
and a ric-rak frame were all add to the card. The background pattern paper is Halloween  paper with a vintage twist!

Imagine

Welcome to the new "A Magical Day" release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps!
Gnomes and fairies, and dragons OH MY!!!!!!!!! This release is full of magical stamps and matching sentiments! Be sure to use the link above to go directly to the website to see the full release!

The design team will be sharing lots of magic with these new images - you won't want to miss a day!

I so excited to introduce you to the oh so cute "Wizarding Gnome"! How cute is he!?! I wonder what he is up to.............

I wanted to create a magical themed background and yet keep it somewhat subtle if that makes sense. After colouring up the stamp with alcohol markers, I fussy cut him leaving a thin white edge and popped him up with foam dots. Some sparkle pen added to the stars and ball were perfect for a little bit of magical bling. Sparkly dangling stars made with a stencil and Stickles add to the magic - although it didn't quite work out perfectly <wink>.

The sentiment was stamped directly on to the background paper. Then I masked off the stamp and to just get the stars and added them in three different places to keep the theme going through out the card. A few of the small stars have Stickles added to them too, it's just kind of hard to see in the photo.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Wizarding Gnome - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Imagine - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Water Colour Washes - Lawn Fawn
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Misti, Diamond Stickles, Forever In Time foam squares, Stampin' Up ink, Sheena Douglas Sparkle Pens, Spellbinders classic circle die, Whimsy Stamp Star Dangle stencil

Spectrum Noir Markers: FS1 FS4 TN2EB1 EB2 IG2 IG3 IG5 GT1 GT2 GT3 GY1 GY3 B04
